2008 Gold Product of the Year - Consulting Specifying Engineer Magazine

The Kidde AEGIS™ panel is a recipient of Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) magazine’s Gold Product of the Year award. The monthly magazine, which boasts a readership of over 46,000 mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, said that the competition evaluates products that demonstrate practical innovation. The AEGIS is profiled, along with other category winners, in the October 2008 issue of CSE. “Engineers are traditionally very conservative when specifying products for building systems. The Product of the Year competition highlights new or refined products that engineers have found valuable during the products’ first year in the market. This helps accelerate the improvement of building performance by making them more energy efficient, safe, healthy, environmentally friendly, and less costly over their lifecycle,” said Michael Ivanovich, Editor-in-Chief, CSE magazine. 

2009 Top Products of the Year - Building Operating Management Magazine

Building Operating Management (BOM) magazine has honored the Kidde Aegis™ panel with the 2009 Top Product Award in the Fire Control Panel category. Building Operating Management magazine's Top Products Awards recognize product releases that generated the highest level of interest from building and facility executives. The Kidde AEGIS is the most advanced Conventional Single Hazard Agent Releasing Unit available to the Fire-Alarm/Suppression industry today.
